Mr. Matt Beiriger graduated from Millard West in 1997, and received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He currently teaches American Government, AP Comparative Government and Politics, and World Geography. Mr. Beiriger was awarded the James Madison Fellowship in 2006, and is working on his Masters in Political Science at Ashland University. Mr. Brett Kelly graduated from Hebron High School in 1990. After serving four years in the Marine Corps, he attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, receiving a B.A. in Social Sciences while working full-time at the Nebraska Furniture Mart. He went on to receive a master's degree in administration from Doane College. He is currently the Social Studies department head, teaching American History and Law Studies and is also an assistant freshmen football coach. Mr. Kelly is married and has three daughters. His hobbies include camping, golfing, fishing, hunting and biking.

Mr. Nick Kintzle graduated from Ralston High School and then went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to complete his degree. Currently in his seventh year of teaching at Millard South, Mr. Kintzle teaches World Geography and Psychology. Mr. Kintzle completed is master’s degree at Doane College. When not at school, Mr. Kintzle enjoys hanging out with his wife, two daughters and friends and rooting for the Huskers.

Mr. Martin graduated from Norris High School (south of Lincoln), received his B.A. from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his M.A. from Doane College. He currently teaches AP European History and American Government, while serving as an assistant football coach. His wife, Sarah, teaches English at Millard South and they have two daughters in the district. Mr. Martin is an avid outdoorsman.

Mrs. McGuire has been teaching at Millard South since January of 1984. She completed her undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1983 and her M.S. from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1992. Mrs. McGuire and her husband spent two years serving in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic from 1988-1990. She currently teaches AP Human Geography, World Geography and Human Diversity. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, music, the outdoors, and spending time with family.

Mr. Means is currently the head football coach.

Mrs. Kyrie Nehls graduated from Westminster High School in Westminster, Colorado. Mrs. Nehls attended Hastings College earning her B.A. in Social Science Education and a Master of Arts in Leadership at Bellevue University. She has been teaching since 1994 at Millard South. Mrs. Nehls teaches World Religions and American History, and she sponsors Student Council. When she is not at school, she loves to spend time with her family, traveling, participating in or watching any and all sports, and rooting for her beloved Denver Broncos.

Michele Stogdill teaches World Geography and AP Human Geography. She has an undergraduate degree in History from Buena Vista College. Ms. Stogdill has a masters degree in Secondary Administration from Central Missouri State University and another in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Social Studies from the University of Missouri. Ms. Stogdill joined the Millard South staff in 2004. Before coming to Millard South she spent twelve years teaching in Missouri.

After graduation from Millard South in 2001, Matt received a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with Social Studies and Coaching Endorsements from Midland University in 2005, rounding out his education with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College. Starting at Millard South in 2015, Matt brings 10 years of experience with him. Along with teaching World History, he is busy helping with Boys Tennis and Boys Varsity Basketball. When not spending time with this wife, Ashley, and sons, Noah and Liam he enjoys hanging out with family and friends.

Jamie Svatora graduated from Columbus Scotus High School and received a B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2001. She earned her teaching certificate in Social Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006. She teaches Psychology and AP Psychology, and sponsors LEO Club. She loves road trips, mountains, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Svatora was chosen as Millard South’s Teacher of the Year in 2012.

Graduating from Millard South in 1999, Scott Wike went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with endorsements in history and speech. He returned to UNO in 2010 to begin work on a master’s degree in political communication. Mr. Wike currently teaches World Geography and World History.

Meryl Zadina graduated from Millard North High School in 1999. She attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha were she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Specialization in Marketing. Meryl then went back to school to be a teacher. She earned a Master’s in Education with a History endorsement in 2013 from Creighton University, and is currently pursuing her Social Studies endorsement. Meryl has been teaching at Millard South since 2013 and is currently teaching World History and Introduction to Behavioral Sciences. Meryl and her husband Joe have been married since 2005 and have three young sons, two of which attend Upchurch Elementary school in Millard. In her free time she enjoys running, yoga, cooking and spending time with her family.
